World Cup Final - without me
Place 30 on Saturday at the Middle distance was not enough to get a place among the 40 runners on Sunday's Sprint start list. One sub-optimal route choice and one bigger mistake (control 16) were too much - disappointment! Not only about my performance, also about the forest. After the training camp in french Jura, I was hoping for something different, than branches, branches, branches (on the ground).

At least, the non-qualified runners could run in the national sprint event, in the same terrain as the World cup afterwards. All in all, I'm satisfied with the race. The old town of Genève offered some interesting route choices and nice sights to pass. I finished second behind Vincent Coupat.
