Finally, I managed to run again in the forest without any pain. One month after the injury with a torn ligament, I dared to run in the forest. I was very happy with the result, as there was no pain any more. It was an important test for me ahead of WOC, to know that my ankle is stable again. After the injury I had two weeks without any running training and now I'm in my third running week since then. But, after every intensity training, I can feel, that my muscles preferred to relieve than to stay in a good condition.
However, I'm confident that I managed to get back into a reasonable shape, particularly for the sprint. Furthermore, I'll run again the long distance, just my second time after my first WOC in 2004.
